I found a very interesting discussion on another forum. I surfed into a survivalist (!) forum called plainsmanscabin.
Inside, I found a discussion thread that Equipped members might enjoy. It's called "Daily Carry for the Brooks Brothers Brigade," about carrying survival gear if you wear a suit. Problem is, you must be a member of the ezboard community, which I am, in order to view any discussions.
Obviously, merely posting a link won't work, since you would have to register. Posting the thread itself would, but I don't know how to do that. This seems like good info, but I have no idea how to get it to the members of Equipped.
Suggestions, anyone?
Craig

Cool. Can you give me a boost, so to speak? I think the thread I mentioned would benefit some Equipped members.

I think a lot of people, myself included, would be willing to register. Could you post a link? I tracked down the site, but can't seem to find the door into the forums...
Thanks, ~W

OK, I registered and did some searching but couldn't get a match on "Daily carry" or "Brooks Brothers". There are about 15 different forums there with a bunch of interesting stuff but I went there looking for this particular thread you mentioned. Could you atleast tell us which of the forums over there contains the thread?

Hang on, help is on the way. The person who wrote it sent me a very nice email and was kind enough to extend permission and give me the text of the article. I will try to post it in a new thread.
