Whenever I think of duct tape, I think of babysitting. And when I think of babysitting, I remember a poem about Mendel*. I wonder if they are going to show right and wrong ways to duct tape babies and small children to walls and heavy furniture? Maybe I should watch.

"Mendel, with a thirst for gore,
Nailed the baby to the door.
Mother said, with humor quaint,
Mendel, dear, don't knick the paint."

It would seem that duct tape would prevent nail holes and gore.
