Whenever I think of duct tape, I think of babysitting. And when I think of babysitting, I remember a poem about Mendel*. I wonder if they are going to show right and wrong ways to duct tape babies and small children to walls and heavy furniture? Maybe I should watch.
"Mendel, with a thirst for gore, Nailed the baby to the door. Mother said, with humor quaint, Mendel, dear, don't knick the paint."
It would seem that duct tape would prevent nail holes and gore.

"It would seem that duct tape would prevent nail holes and gore. " Obviously you forgot the thread about duct taping a cat then.

Man, I resisted the temptation in my original post, but no longer! Duct Tape Wallet and Duct Tape Passport Holder at ThinkGeek. Or, you might prefer the Stainless Steel Wallet , if you want something more durable.

I made a duct tape wallet for my son a year ago and he still plays with it (he's 6)...also made one for a co-worker's husband, and when I gave it to her another co-worker seemed heartbroken that he hadn't gotten one. I made the one's with the change pocket.

Liking that SS wallet. Me thinks it would be some time before it would need replacing.

There were no nail holes or gore. Besides, cats are human and kids are just kids. (ducking and running fast)

This site sells a lot of different kinds of adhesive tape. My favorite is the mini rolls of duct tape - great for an EDC kit,.
