One of the survival books recommended on this site is the USAF Search and Rescue Survival Training manual. If anyone is interested in obtaining a copy, I found one at Barnes and Noble. It was located in the Bargain section, and was marked down to $12.95. What a deal. Needless to say, I snapped it up.

This puppy is massive. It measures a shade over 7x10 inches, and has 620 pages. It is loaded with valuable information and has an excellent index.

If you are interested in a copy, call the bookstores in your area and see if you can find one in stock (maybe on clearance!), or if they can order one for you. The book's ISBN is 1-58633-722-3.

Yes B&N was getting rid of this book in their clearance section. That's how I got mine. Excellent book.
