This falls more into 'Folk remedies'. A chili diet may change the PH of your stomach, and 'discourage' internal parasites, and the sweating is looked upon as a purgative, much like saunas. For a natural wash and repellant ( insects?) I find vinegar to be effective with my horses.<br><br>
Sorry, I made myself misunderstood. <br><br> In the summer when people work on the fields and for themselves and their animals they use pepper for the insect bites and small wounds. It keeps the flies and mosquitos away from the wound. I tried it on my dog once and it was useful for keeping the insects and her tongue away from the wound. I just wonder if the natives use the same method over there?<br><br>Pepper can be found in the wilderness over here around the mediterranean easily. <br><br>Vinegar is also used here for similar purposes and also for discouraging the parasites and small insects on green vegetables. <br><br>Survive and Protect
