Hey all,
This may seem like a trivial question but I am curious- does anyone know if the Res-Q-Me keychain is able to break home windows in the event of an emergency? I would think that tempered windows in cars and home windows are quite similar so...

Thanks for any info in advanced!
-Mark

It would likely work. However, the glass would pose a significant hazard, as it would not break into small pieces like tempered glass. If I were to use it to break regular glass, I would start at the top of the window. It would likely take several punches to work your way down the window. Gloves and safety eyewear would definitely be necessary. Pete

Home window glass is not nearly as strong as tempered auto glass and as such is much more vulnerable to a flying chair. The flying chair can be deployed from a safe distance. The flying chair will take a bunch of the dangerous glass out with it so you don't have to worry so much about cutting yourself as you follow the chair. Office windows are often tempered glass and won't be vulnerable to the flying chair but may be vulnerable to the centerpunch. Haven't tried it tho (I think the boss would be mad) <img src="images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
