That crazy guy was jumping through the trees like a demented squirrel in my own back yard and I had no idea. The thought sheds new light on how inane his stuff is. I couldn't help but imagine walking through the woods and finding a mad brit clinging to a tree, talking about koalas, and i just about died laughing. I also wasn't aware that flash-flooding and wild pigs were such a deadly problem around here; looks like i've been prepping for all the wrong stuff. grin

it got better from there(by better i mean stupider). he had that whole pig but he decided to worm his way down into a death trap of a cave in search of crickets and "cave fish." BEAR, YOU'VE GOT FIFTY POUNDS OF BBQ AT CAMP; WTF ARE YOU DOING EATIN FISHIN BAIT? and after he puts out his torch in an underground pond he starts talking about logical thinking.
and they keep nominating US for the Darwin Awards. :?:
i'm still in the middle of the episode so i've no idea how he'll top that stunt.

I was watching it with my 6 year old son and he told me he wouldn't go into that cave like Bear was doing.
So next season Bear should have a show called "Are you smarter that a 6 year old?"

Entertainment folks that's what he provides... and someone to laugh at. I can't stand the show more than 15 minutes or so myself smirk

Bear is with us (my daughter and me) whenever we are in the woods.

She has learned to call doing something stupid and reckless as "pulling a Bear".

As she's climbing over boulders, she always asks for reassurance; "I'm not pulling a Bear am I daddy?".

Of course, she never is. She always proceeds very carefully.

We watch Bear sometimes and she points out what he's doing wrong.

I'm so proud!
