I am not a handler but I am a member of a "Special Tactics Search and Rescue Team (STSAR) I could relay messages to our handlers. I am a Tracker, I haven't gone to the dogs yet.

Many thanks for both of you. I had to leave for a while after the question and I am just back.

Our dog has recently died and we hope to have a Belgian Malinois in spring time. Here we do not have many search dogs and trainers. I want to raise the Malinois as a SAR dog. I need information about SAR dog training as downloads or book reccomendations which I can find from Amazon or etc., to make use of while we are on the training. I am SAr personnel and I have raised dogs but I never tried a SAR dog.
