SIGG isn't calling it a recall, and it isn't because you have to pay to have your old SIGG bottles shipped to New Jersey. However, if you're worried about BPA (Bisphenol A) and have a SIGG bottle made before the introduction of their new "EcoCare Liner" they'll replace the old bottle with a new one for free, minus inbound shipping of course.

Excllent I have a couple of 10year old SIGG bottles that are bit battered from a slip down a scree slope - new shiny replacements for free !

Replacing them purely because I'm scared of a few parts per trillion of BPA of course ;-)
