You could add a tea candle and some mason's twine to your left pocket and elevate your trash bag to a warmer, more flexible shelter system.

You could slip all your left pocket stuff into a fairly stiff 1 L plastic bag to use as a water container. I was thinking about a used milk bag, or a 1 L platypus bottle with the screw cap end cut off.

And you could also supplement your Zippo with a backup butane lighter, because you KNOW the Zippo is going to run dry after a week or so. (But then, how long do you plan to be in survival mode? And you do have lots of fire redundancy.)

If you're only carrying one blade, maybe the Crawford is not the best bet (sleek and beautiful though it is) since it lacks any kind of guard. When your hands are cold and stiff, and you're under duress, you might want something substantial to keep your fingers from slipping onto the blade.
