Wow. 120 miles lost.
Kinda makes you wonder. That is a lot of territory she covered before dying.

If she had taken a GPS, map and compass, or other navigation aids she might have made it back to her car.
If she had taken a PLB, left notes, marked her back trail, stopped and waited to be found, lit a smoky fire for the searchers or done many other things she might have been found in time.

Ten miles a day is phenomenal mileage for a lost person. Especially if you think she might have been doing some wandering and back tracking as she traveled.
