Dweste: Great Idea,except alot of us have extertise in other areas other than survival, and that is the reason we come to this site to learn. Is there anything you need to know abouth crash firefighting ?

Do you mean like aircraft crash firefighting?
The only thing I know about automotive crash firefighting has already been shared - pop the hood release ASAP - but don't actually attempt to open the hood.

So why are the guys spraying foam not afraid of smothering any passengers that might still be alive?
The passengers are generally inside the aeroplane, the fire is hopefully outside. I think it's considered 'good form' to remove the passengers from the foam before they die.
