Hi Folks,

I'm thinking about trying some solar cooking and already have plans on making a solar cooker using the Cookit device.

I've seen this in action already and the only concern I have is the required cooking time which is typically 4x or greater than using a regular stove.

What I'm really wondering about is if anyone has any experience with cooking using a fresnel lens. I'm not referring to the credit card sized ones that are sometimes packed into survival kits, but the larger ones (typically the same size as letter size (8.5*11) paper).

Anyone tried cooking with one of these? If so, what kind of rig did you use?
