I just got my first botlle of Lifeboat matches today (THanks Tom <img src="images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />). My questions:

1) The matches are wind and waterproof, but is the striker strip?
2) How do I repackage the stiker strip in a PSK, or will any strikerstrip do?
3) I opened my PSK after a month of storage, and the heads of my matches (cheap local brand) had become powdery and fragil. is this the same with lifeboat matvhes?

Good q about the strip, I'll try that out soon. Have you tried to strike the heads. It will become addicting to see if you can get it to go out <img src="images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
It's not difficult to strike them. Just give a glancing blow almost straight down <img src="images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
Here's an updated list of my SURVIVAL STUFF
Enjoy
