hello fellow countrymen. personally i think these kits are more disigned for "PHRASECENSOREDPOSTERSHOULDKNOWBETTER.'s" as a short term survival kit, they don't even contain a knife ! and the amount of food and water is pretty low. the contains are very hard to see on the pic, but the whistle which i can see well really looks like a toy whistle. The overal price is a bit high in mine opinion, there top of the line "Safety & Survivor III" doesn't look like its worth $ 89.95. i personally would go for a BCB kit (like the survival system, com-pac, etc. ), + a FAK (first aid kit) and some simple water and food, which is cheaper and yet beter in mine opinion for someone in that budget range.
