I have received a notice from McMurdo that the new Fast Find PLB has now been independently tested and approved for stowage and use at altitudes of up to 40,000 ft. The original rating was only 15,000 ft, as we noted in our initial evaluation.

Thanks for the update Doug, I am glad I upgraded to this PLB, it's like a small cell phone. To be honest I would have not considered a fast find if you hadn't went through a basic evaluation of this unit. I really like how small and compact it is and the sensitivity of the GPS. Great Job!
