I have located a source of small water resistant containers. My father-in-law is a diabetic and he has to test his blood sugar several times a day. He uses test strips -- Ultra One touch -- which are in a small capped bottle(smaller than 35 MM film can). He goes through a bottle every 3 weeks or so and he has been saving them for me. They will hold a package of the Coughlan waterproof matches. Also I have a small round tin that my muzzleloader primer caps came in. I think it will hold a couple needles and a bobbin of thread, in addition to being very shiny, could double as a signal mirror.

Where do you get primer caps from? I've been looking for a source. There are no specialist shops for that sort of thing around here. I suppose I would be able to find some at a show.

I would imagine that you can get RWS (Dynamit Nobel) caps easily enough - contact them for a distributor in your country. Caps are here and you can navigate back from there to the DNRWS home page easily enough from there.
