Back when my wife was just a friend (friends for 14 years or so before the 'magic' happened), she mentioned she wanted a knife for something (couldn't remember the reason). I lived 1/2 country away and had an express parcel to her in days with a brand new SAK with her name engraved on it. She still has it to this day! One thing I noticed when looking at the SAK now is that the saw is beat up... I don't dare ask the quiet librarian why!!!

And to top it all... we where just chatting about hurricane prep last night... Basically we are adding to our hurricane supplies by buying a generator (nothing to small ;-)), window AC unit, and a new bbq with a side burner.

Did I mention I love my wife!

Ditto on the canning strawberies. made several batches inthe last month. She pulled some fresh bluberies off our plant earlier tonight for me. And the short hike we went on last weekend turned into a 9 mile affair.

DW encourages me purchasing basically everything I put away just in case. When your wife is worried about whether you have plenty of ammo, it's not a bad thing.
