I'm not sure if this story should be here or in the "Around the Campfire" section as it's not specifically what we might call PSK, but rather EDC...

Still, it's interesting even if a little extreme. Either way, it's fun to look at.

Eric Le Fou (Crazy Eric) EDCs 1300 pieces of equipment with no backpack. Everything together with his clothes weighs 15kg (33 pounds).

I ran into a link to the story at survivalblog.

I can understand where he got his nickname but he must be a great guy to have around in an emergency. smile

Hope he never goes into water, I didn't see floation in his gear. Might be hard to swim with all that gear. grin

I love this guy! Should we critique his list, or just fall down and worship?

To be French.

He certainly merits a bow from everyone on this website. My friends and family would begin commitment proceedings if my jackets were so equipped.

Holy cow! I think the most interesting part is his ankle holsters:

Would make walking every day a little more interesting...

LOL I didn't even notice those! This is the first time somebody has actually come with a truly useful weighted vest & ankle weights combo. One mean mechanical human machine - takes the cyborg concept to a whole new level.

I wonder though what he does for a living? Must have something to do with electronics, or at least a lot of his gear is optimized for that kind of work.

Can you imagine how many times he has said....

"Wait, I know I have that, it is around here somewhere!!"

That gear might have another benefit. If he is ever apprehended by law enforcement it might keep him from spending a night in jail. Down side is the LEO's may be keeping him at the "hospital" for observation.

SBRaider is right, I hope he doesn't go near any water.
