Happy belated fathers day to all the fathers out there!

It was my first and one that can never be topped! My wife even mentioned that i'm getting squat next year unless I want a card with feet traced on them (which I secretly would love to have so I can display in my cube at work)!

Had breakfast out with the family and friends, had a few hours at the spa (a mud wrap and a massage - damn fine time), then a few hours at a beach bar just relaxing and watching the scenery, and finished up with a latte from my favorite joint.

Did I mention I love my wife...errrr the boys for getting me the gifts? ;-)

I can't remember how long ago it was that I realized that, even though my dad had passed away some years earlier, his influence would always be with me. So, my influence will always be with my son (and, to a large extent, his children ... and so on).

Fathers (and, of course, mothers) - good or bad, always with us. Thus the importance of being a good influence. Pretty heavy stuff.

Its been my home for over 5 years... have no desire to move back home or any other place (though that'll probably change in the future).
