The recently available Orange RSK MK1 is nice, but why orange? Spot is in orange, but PLB's are yellow. Why couldn't it have been yellow to match the yellow mini-RSK and other gear I bought specifically in yellow? None of my emergency gear is orange.

Better than black, but besides blaze orange for hunting, why orange?

They can't do the full size ones in yellow, the brighter color dyes weaken the handle material to much.

The orange used is a somewhat darker orange and works better in the larger handles.

As soon as the orange handles came out, I swapped the blades to make an orange one, but I have an orange one from Aeromedix inbound here Monday, so I may switch this one back, or maybe a desert sand Ritter? laugh

So there really is a good reason they didn't do it in yellow. Thank you very much -- orange it is.

Nice orange gang there!!!

No mention on the website of it being a limited run, so hopefully this will be part of the regular line.

And a RAT kick as well smile
I've just recieved my Izula and will be adding the paracord wrap in blaze orange. I'll also be trying to add a small firestriker into the weave of the paracord.

They will be a standard addition to the line. How well the stock situation will be remains to be seen. Aeromedix is trying to improve that so they don't have to backorder standard items so often. They always do a short run initally to gauge demand. So far, so good.

Outstanding Doug and thank you for your response. All is still looking well to a new purchase Friday. I must admit, your knifes are great. I have a RSK1 that I EDC'd for almost 2 years, I got my girlfriend one of the pinks last year for valentines day with the valentine kits. This last Feb I bought my, still too young but will grow into it, daughter a Pink RSK. The orange is just begging for me to nab it. I also want to thank you for what you have done for knife owners rights and hopefully this custom thing does not get too out of hand...
