I had a broken Charge (broken flat head) and SuperTool (broken plier jaw) that needed servicing. I sent it in about week and a half ago and got it back already. They replaced most of the tools in the handles, cleaned it up and sharpened all the blades. So cool of them since I was half expecting my tools to be gone for a good month or so and that they will just fix a problem without doing anything else. For that reason I lived with a broken flat head on my charge for a long time. But I was wrong... Handles on both tools still have battle scars but everything else is either new or cleaned/restored. Thumbs up Leatherman.

Now that is good customer service.

Plesantly, I have found that the knife companies that I have delt with have had outstanding customer service. I am left with the sense that knife manufactures have some how NOT forgotten there customers.

It could just be my skewed perspective of the world. Where you have to fight with every service provider to get them to do what is in there contract, from cable TV to Cell phone providers, to car/motorcycle dealers. It is refreshing to see some companies havn't forgotten there customers.

Exclent to here that Leatherman provided great service.

Yet another reason why people should buy quality knives and tools made by a reputable manufacturer you can trust (with your life if need be). Apart from supporting honest, hard working people, they will fix your gear if you ever break or damage anything. Thumbs up! I know I'd never buy any multitool other than Leatherman.
