Now, I'm pretty good at making do, but what I saw the other day in Seattle did make me laugh.
I pulled up to a traffic light on Elliott and noticed a pooped-out-looking woman with a very active Siberian Husky on a leash. She had sweat stains under her arms and down her back, and her hair was a mess, and I could see she was tired.
The leash was funny-looking. I looked at it for quite a few seconds before I realized what it was... her bra. Knowing Siberians, I'll bet the dog got away and she ran it down (no easy feat) and then realized she had nothing to walk it back with. So she made do with what she had.
Good girl!

I had a drug runner ignore my hails because 44' MLBs were unarmed. 1917 line throwing rifle, bronze tip right into the bridge glass.

I've always thought my 12 gauge flare gun was an option for self defense, and I carry a lot on board. It's not that it's going to stop a determined pirate, but, molten hot items landing on the deck or in the cockpit of their gas powered boat might serve to give them pause? It always seems to work when James Bond does it...

Something tells me if she was on Elliot she wasn't exactly, um, attractive???
I remember narrowly missing mangling my pickup in the vehicle pileup on Millcreek in downtown Walla Walla when a young lady with a rather ample set of exposed attributes was determinedly walking along the side of the road with a very angry demeanor. Her rhythm was remarkable, and I reckon the other two fellas who ended up crashed into one another felt the same as me. Pure admiration!!! But there was no way in heck I was gonna get out of that truck to offer her assistance. I have a feeling she'd have decked me right outta my boots. Instead I just smiled and waved, sittin' on my bag o' seed.

She was pretty enough, but slender, not "top-heavy".
When I drove limo in Vegas, there was a hooker who worked Casino Center who had a body that was a sailor's dream. I had a load of cowboys on board for the National Finals Rodeo, and she darn near caused five simultaneous cases of severe whiplash in my car alone. The drool was disgusting -- dogs drool less than that. Bloodhounds and French Mastiffs drool less than that.
Graboids drool less than that.

Yep, you'll get that in Vegas.
There was a time when I would've been called a Graboid. Now I am married and know better. Well, at least until I get a green light for GOOOOO!!!!!
