for the past four weeks and counting a 72 year old man has been evading the police and his family useing his survival skills he learnt whilst in the army back in the early fifties. the pensioner (who's name i can't remeber) did the same thing back in 98 but for three weeks. Just something off the local news I thought you might be intrested in.

The only other things I can remember them saying was that he suffered from depression and high blood pressure. They didn't say if he'd broken the law or not.

just read that article myself, mybe he's just depressed and felt like getting away from it all. impressive that he can give the cops the run around so well!
He isn't mising, as HE knows where he is Many is the day, sitting on a freeway with the remaining wild lands in view that I want to jump out with my PSK and make a run for it

Is there anything actually illegal about what he is doing? I mean, besides getting his family upset, which is certainly not illegal. Perhaps they should just leave his medication somewhere for him to find.
A more plausable situation might be that he has actually escaped from some retirement home that he was put in against his will.
