Most of the EB gear is junk. As in manufactured with cut-rate materials, assembled by low-wage workers, and given nearly no quality control.

I bought my friend and brother their "survival" bottle (nalgene knock-off) and the contents are pretty mostly worthless except the bottle and one or two of the items (I got them at a steep discount as stocking stuffer type presents). :-)

That's the only time I can recall buying anything from EB that wasn't made of cloth or leather.
