Glucose tablet's work, but when I was a CIT at a diabetic camp (the same camp I attended for years previously) we used honey to counteract an insulin reaction. Forunately no one ever seemed to have an allergy to it. There was one year they tried this nasty glucose gel that was invariably worn by the counselor, nurse or whoever was administering it when it was spit back at them. Needless to say that was the last year of that and next year the glorious return of honey packets. Good times ...
