http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000WCMJPA/ref=cm_pdp_rev_itm_img_1 is my favorite watch. I've worn it daily for well over a year and it's tough as nails and "kitchen sink" functional. I have worn it to business meetings, even a funeral. However, I have a drawer with several other watches including a couple of Seiko's.
If' you're looking for something stylish that won't break the bank, go look at something along the line of Fossil or Kenneth Cole, etc. Citizen and Seiko are often pricey, but they do usually have some watches in the $100 range. I just don't think they look that great in comparison to the $200-300 ones.
If you can afford a compromise, something like

It boils down to personal choice and budget and what it's primary purpose is. If you are wearing a suit every day, maybe the Casio Pathfinder isn't for you, but packs a boatload of functions. I think, actually that some of the cheaper brand names mentioned look better at the $100 range (the top of their scale) than what amounts to the bottom of the barrel for Seiko and Citizen for their ~$100 offerings.
If you go with Invicta, the 4244 and 2875 are nice dressy models... which seem to fit your budget criteria. I'm not sure, but it seems from your optimal selections you want black leather band and plain white faces. Not sure how married you are to leather, so this one could be a nice option:
