I think the MagFire has a higher magnesium content than a standard ferro rod, but I haven't found anywhere that specifically states that. paramedicpete, is this true of the PROFORCE?

What I want to know is: Is the magnesium content in the Aurora, the MagFire, and the PROFORCE substantially greater than that of a standard ferro rod? Are these options really any better at starting fires? Has anyone compared them?
