I've tried them twice on the phone (haven't left messages), but did leave them a comment with my email address asking for more info...haven't heard anything yet.<br><br>Anyone know what the price difference is? I don't own the sterling, perhaps Doug can give better input. I have a small flat diamond hone secured under ducktape and paracord on my sheath. I bought mine from www.ragweedforge.com Ragnar gives a good introduction to blade grinds, sharpening and exaustive links. A truly quality knife of sufficient rockwell hardness will hold an edge with just a little periodic 'cleaning up' with a hone unless abused.But like Doug mentions; even the best may come with a less than perfect edge from the factory.<br><br>

She took a while to get back to me, but said yes, they do still make and sell the Superior Sharpener with the diamond dust pad. They cost $1.50/each more than the normal versions. She said to just use the normal order form on their website (https://commerce1.ba.best.com/~xsharp/order.html) and then immediately follow that order up with an email to her (bonnie@2xsharp.com) telling her that you would like the ones you ordered to have the diamond pad.<br><br>
