OBG,
As I recall, you've been a traveler since I first read this site. View this new path as just another journey, and face it with an open mind, and continue to face new things with the heart of a warrior ... or maybe the heart of a child.
I hope the journies that await you come with as little pain and as much happiness as possible. You are in my prayers.

OBG, PEACE be with you and your family. My thoughts and prayers go with you. Though we have never met, I felt I knew you from your posts. Why do the good guys always wind up this way. Cancer sucks. I've seen too many great guys fall victim to it. Somebody once said something to the effect of " Live every day like it's your last, 'cause it might be". I guess this is another painful example.

Wow that is awful news, we will pray for you and hope for the best. We have enjoyed your posts over the years and remember to never give up as the navy seals say the only easy day was yesterday. There have been many cancer survivors and that doesn't mean that there is no hope for you, only a challenge. Good luck and god speed.

That's horrible. I feel like you're one of the "father figures" here. It'll be a lesser forum with your absence. Good luck.. the only good news I can offer is that, often, fast cancers respond better to treatment...
