Does anyone know of where to get the green cover survival manual that was previously available from Buckshot? I'm fairly certain I still have mine somewhere in storage, but I'd like another copy anyways.
A fantastic and under-rated book. Take it to an office supply place like Staples. Have them laminate the front & back covers then spiral bind the thing. Costs but a few bucks and adds much durability and readability to the manual.
can someone tell me why this is a book I must buy. I have never heard of it, but with the recommendations I am seeing here, it seems it must go on the list.

It is a no nonsense survival guide from a military perspective. The author is writing what he is living and that makes him a reliable source of specific info and his stories of his personal involvement makes it interesting to read about survival, in that it is much more than just an accumulation of facts compiled by some random layman.
