Interesting video that.

Couple of points I noticed about it:

1) Knife is rated to only 100lb. Against 200lb for a Benchmade Axis lock.

2) He's stabbing with it. So it's a killing weapon, not a tool. Also I notice that he is being very careful to keep all the forces exerted on the frame perpendicular to the long (strongest) axis.

3) All of the slashing tricks he performed with the rope, bottle, cardboard etc are nothing special. Most plain edge knives of decent quality will do that.

Sadly, I'm not impressed.

One other point: A proper Skean Dhu is not a fighting knife. It's a well designed small carbon steel utility knife, that is perfect for general use.
