I'm not sure if advertising is allowed on this forum but here goes:<br><br>I've recently purchased a Pur Survivor 06-LL water maker, the long handled 2.5lb 'milliary variant' of this desalinator at a cost of $860 Austrailian Dollars (approx $480 US Dollars or £305 UK Pounds)<br>including air mail to the UK. Less than the new cost of the civilian version. Elsewhere on this site (http://www.equipped.org/simon_t.htm) Doug Ritter notes that these are no longer available to the general public. Mine was previously owned by Air Services Australia and has never been used.<br><br>The gentleman I got mine from has several more available and can be contacted by email at jmarano@powerup.com.au. Doug hasn't anything set in stone regarding forum transactions, except to fully identify yourself ( ie, our friend at Blue line Outfitters.) Hi Chris,<br>I looked at the last line of your post several time any couldn't work out what you meant, then it dawned on me. No where in my original post did I say that as the water maker came from Oz the price I paid was in AUSTRALIAN DOLLARS not US dollars. <br><br>Thanks for spotting my error, I've now edited the post and added currency conversions.
