A magnitude-4.6 quake isn't "very small", it isn't very big, but it isn't very small either, as I recall 4.6 is considered "light". Mag 1's and 2's could be classed as very small (micro and minor). Aren't semantics great? wink

It was strong enough to be felt in a parked Suburban. It felt like someone was bouncing it to test the shocks.

Yeah, a magnitude 6.4 is only 63 times stronger than a magnitude 4.6 earthquake. (Don’t you love logarithmic scales?) crazy

I was awake. All I could think was that if that was a forerunner of a Big One, I'm sitting on a hill created out of fill, and there are probably at least a hundred overpasses between me and home. eek

we had a 3.6 here in DFW, or that is what they told me. I was sleeping the sleep of the innoc..... Well I was asleep.
