As I said in another thread, I spent 2 weeks in the hospital about 10 days back. I'm still home on sick leave, but am MOSTLY feeling better.

Well, last night it snowed. I TRIED to clear the snow today. Go out to the garage, turn the snowblower around, and go to start the thing - I managed maybe 3 pulls on the rope - that's it. It didn't start, and frankly, I didn't have the energy to do more - now it's raining on top of the snow, and it's going to be a dog for the family (I'll do what I can) to shovel tonight

Guess that even though I basically feel better, I'm not there yet

Yep, I can agree completely. The chiropractor finally got my hips stabilized, only for me to put my neck out this weekend working on another honeydoo fixing the closet shelving.

It just doesn't end.

Stop,
take care of yourself before you relapse or worse.

Yup, being sick stinks.
There really isn't much else to say.

Not trying to be a hero - I thought I was well enough - I really did - 3 hours later, I can tell you - nope - not well enough. Darn I wish there were folks around I could hire

Head toward Broadway around Steinway, but a block or two toward Woodside. Normally plenty of guys there seeking employment. (I'm sure there are also other street corner makrets for casual labor in NYC.) You might be taking a chance that the guy you hire is going to do a decent job, etc., but it's better than taking a chance on you being back on your back.

Hope you get back into the swing of things quickly.
