This is my first time putting pictures on the forum. If this doesn't work I'll keep trying.

The first picture is printed on water proof paper and then laminated. When folde together the first picture forms a small envelope with "Save my Life" on one side a CPR instructions on the other.

A small accordion sheet goes inside with antibiotic info on one side and knot instructions on the other.

I'll have much more to say about it once I make sure the picutes work

I guess the pictures don't show up on the forum. You can still view the pictures by pasting the URLs in your address bar.

Anyone willing to do this deserves my explanations.

As I stated in the other post, the first picture creates an envelope with all my health insurance, allergies, legal info saying to help me despite any laws. This was written for all EMS as well as good samaritans.

By being on top on the outside the instructions are readily seen.

The CPR instructions, which I'm still working on, are already under debate in another thread.

I included information that I can easily memorize. In fact I have just about memorized everything. However, when in a surivial situation I don't want to take the chance that I could forget. Heck, I forget my own name sometimes. <img src="images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

My second rational is this. This is information that is hard or impossible to improvise in the field. The knots aren't the most important, but if I forgot them I couldn't easily tie a few knots and figure them out.

For antibiotic dosages and uses, I may or may not be carrying any of the said antibiotics. I do keep some in my house and a small supply in my larger kits. However, there may be times when I can recon some drugs during an emergency and not know what drugs to take. For me, this could be a disaster.
Some of the problems take weeks for symptoms to appear. In which case I felt fine before I left the house. Two weeks into a hike or adventure I start feeling the symptoms. I need to know what to take.

I tried to include medications that I have taken before and have access to. I have never taken Levaquin. A previous thread recommended it. In which case I need to ask all the doctors or equivelants on this forum for advise.

Since 99% of my time is spent in some sort of civilization I think I may come across a pharmacy or two.

I put all types of water purification I might improvise. If I'm stuck in a building I might find these chemicals in strange quantities and find water conatiners in larger sizes and so forth. So I wrote all of that down.

Even though I know morse code I could possibly be in such a hurry and mess it up. I could have a broken jaw and arms and have to communicate with someone who doesn't know. Thus, I included the code.

Hi survivalperson,

Made several attempts to go to the url provided. Kept getting message that the album is empty. Tried pruning the url then adding pieces to get there, no dice.

Please keep trying, and thanks for sharing.

EDIT: > UPDATE: This afternnoon, I was finally able to access your photo album, albeit indirectly...By more cutting and pasting of the URL's I was able to see what appeared to be thumbnail sized images. Too small for the regular Netscape viewer to really make much of, so I copied them into Visio, opened them then used the zoom function in Visio. Sadly, while I could discern the intent and global layout of the sheets, the small original document size meant that when zoomed, the image quality degrades as the pixels became larger, and even then, I had to use my imagination to "read" the words. Still looking forward to seeing the full size images. < END EDIT

Regards,
Comanche7

picture's URL has to end on .jpg or the other allowed allowed kinds of picture file. You can use site's like www.hunting-pictures.com to put it on the web as there original kind of file.
