Well Doug that new knife really looks great. I just read your description and inception page and think you hit the nail on the head with this one.

It is near impossible to find the perfect knife for a small kit. I resorted to a custom knife but many people just cannot do that.

Remember back several years ago with that Australian PSK could be had with a double edge "arrow shaped" fixed blade? It was nearly impossible to get then Australia banned them and it was absolutely impossible. Well this Mk 5 looks to open up a new host of possibilites.
