NASAR has been working for a couple years on updating the Hug-a-Tree program. There were plans to update the old slideshow materials with a digital version, among other things.

I haven't seen any signs of that yet, but they have added an information flyer and a Hug-a-Tree activity book.

OK, an update.

They now have a couple more documents that can be downloaded/printed out, including a syllabus and training information for anyone who wants to teach kids about Hug-a-Tree.

Contains the book, an orange trash bag printed with instructions, a mirror and a whistle. The book is illustrated with pictures of CARDA (California Rescue Dog Association) search dogs.
