I am convinced that if we decorate a Tree That Is Always Green with bright ornaments the sun will come back again...I'm sure our brightly decorated solstice tree will ensure that the days don't get any shorter..

I'm surprised that the tiny bald person in the pink jumpsuit didn't get kicked around like a soccer ball with all that scurrying the big people were doing...

Was the cat locked in a bathroom for the last half of the video? Ours always comes back to pull ornaments down no matter how many times you get after ’em.

Best part of grandparenting too. We are kidsitting a seven month old grandson today, and he is having a really really bad day. Can't wait for his mommy to get home...
Looks like a wonderful family. I miss mine being that small again. I miss playing Santa. May you be blessed with a quiet evening and a pager that just doesn't go off.

I danced naked around a fire in the chiminea. YoDuh is still small enough to fit in a chiminea but the vestal virgin could afford to lose little weight.

ps: The future gets brighter after the solstice
I have just had a mental image of a chiminea with a balding pate visible in the top, and a bare rump protruding from the front. This as my two German Shepherds chased one of our cats thru the gate that keeps said GSD's downstairs. The cat got stuck between the bars and had to be rescued. Hope the coffee on the keyboard does little damage.
