merry Christmas all. Believe it or not we are out shopping at 2132 cst for the 17 year old young man we just inheirited tonight. Friends with my sons' from school and work. Mom is gone on a bender to the Indian casino in Oklahoma and didn't get him Christmas! Anybody curious how many stores are open tonight? Walgreen's and 7-11. It's worth it, but damn parents think kids are disposable these days!

I just wish I had some early notice, like when I was at the doctor today across the street from the mall.

Now that I have vented....
I wish everyone a blessed and merry Christmas, be safe and pray for our troops.

Oh yeah, since the doc said no camping trip due to the MRSA spoken of in another thread today, I really needed my router to come off vacation it started this afternoon. I got all the christmas I needed beside family, the router came back to life!

The girls are tucked away in bed but too excited to sleep, the wife is curled up on the couch with a good book, my folks are upstairs watching the news and marveling at the difference in temperature between their home in Minnesota and here, and I've just finished off the cookies and cherry Coke left out for Santa (a bit of rum topped of the Coke). Right at this momment things are perfect. I hope the are for all y'all, too.

Merry Christmas to my ETS family!

-Blast, about to hang a bunch of bells off his bum before placing presents under the tree.

The only fear I have is when "mom" comes home from Oklahoma. I am going to pray that I have calmed down by then. If not the MRSA is going to be the least of my worries. I will need to have my entire left leg surgically reattached, after the same medical practitioner removes it from her @ss.

Good Luck.

God bless you, Desperado. You are good man, and just the sort of role model that young fellow probably needs.

Interesting Forum for this topic - smile

Merry Christmas all. The wife and kids are still asleep after a late night. Santa has come and gone so the goodies are all waiting to be discovered. I am about to go shovel the walks for the 6th time in 7 days, at least it is a white Christmas this way.

Desperado - thank you for demonstrating the true spirit of the season. May you and yours be especially blessed in the new year.

- Eric
