You've got to love Canada's reasoning behind its laws. A human being certainly would not harbor any ill-intent toward a man or woman, therefor, there is no need for a relatively passive self-defense weapon.
Yes, the laws are strict in some ways up here but they are more flexible than some countries. At least I can pull a person from a burning wreck and not be sued because of it. Apparantly that is not the case in parts of the U.S.
Getting sued because you try to save a persons life........Right on my southern brethern!
