Distilled White Vinegar.

We use it on the little one's cloth diapers. Bleach is too harsh. Not sure if those sacks will hold up to much chlorine.

You could try soaking them in some vinegar solution (or even 100% vinegar). Won't harm any fabrics.

Nature's Miracle or Simple Solution from pet stores. Use as directed, it usually has to soak a while. These are not deodorants, they are odor neutralizers, created so puppies don't go back the first pee place on the carpet thinking it's the 'right' place to do it again. If it can eliminate a dog from smelling a spot, it should work for humans.

Vinegar or ammonia might work but in my experience oxygen is better at neutralizing the funk. Do Not try to cover the smell with perfumes. The result always comes out smelling worse.

I would start with a long soak in good detergent and a non-chlorine, oxygen based, bleach. Every eight hours or so pull the bags out, turn them inside out, and stuff them back in the brew. A day or three should be about right. Add a quart of generic hydrogen peroxide for the last day. Triple rinse and line dry. Leave on the line for a day or two turning then inside out several times to make sure both sides are completely dry and well ventilated.

Time and ventilation can pretty much take the stink out of anything. Worse case rig a clothesline in the attic and hang them up for a few months. If that isn't enough then a few more months...
