So today I wake up to an upset stomach and a massive headache. I am still getting over my mump like lymph node infection, and now this??!!! I hauled my carcass into work anyways, but while crossing the intersection in front of the office I lost my Cheerios. Now my eyes are sore and achy and I feel weak and disconnected.
I didn't come back to Denver just to be miserable. Ugh.
This too shall pass I suppose. Until then, I am off my feed. Sometimes all we can do is "Endeavor to perservere." I am about ready to declare war on someone, er something...

Maybe as a child you were blessed with abnormally good health (maybe it was your parents blessing). As such, it's time to pay back for all of those extra days healthy and playing outside while friends were home sick.
Try and put a positive spin on it. You didn't get blown up in Iraq, so to pay for it you get to be "mildly sick" for a few days/weeks. (hope not months/years)
Get Forest Gump's box of chocolates out and pick another, cause ya know: "You never know what your gonna get".
Get well soon.

It's all the hookers and blow. Really? Hell, if that's the case I must be dead already! Hang in there Ben, it's probably just your body adjusting to a new set of germs. -Blast

After dragging my butt off the train and back to the house, I consumed some good Pho from the local vietnamese restaurant, ate a couple Pepcid Completes, had a DiPhenyhydramine apertif and passed out at 7:00 pm. Woke up about 3:00 am to the dog whining, so let him out to do his business and take another Pepcid. Feeling much better this morning, but still not myself. May switch to Makers Mark tonight instead of the antihistamine.
Thanks for the thoughts, and no, my body ain't yearning to go back to Florida yet.
As a kid I had the mumps, the chicken pox, and the measles. Fortunately I don't remember too much from those days.
It sucks to be getting older.

Thera-Flu recipe:
1) Package Thera-Flu (Flavor of choice.) 2) 1 oz. AMERICAN whiskey (Brand of your choice.) 3) 7 oz. Warm to Hot water (Hot as you can stand it and still drink quickly.) 4) Honey or Lemon (Thera-Flu tastes like crap, ruins good whiskey.)
Mix it up, and drink it down. Unless one is a seasoned connoisseur of liquified corn, this will be enough to soothe the nerves and not result in a headache in the morning. Secondary dosage shall not require any ingredients except number 2).
Good Luck
