I'm sitting at my desk here in Houston watching wind-whipped snow blow past my window.

It's going to be a wonderful winter! smile

Do folks in Texas even own snow shovels?

Came and went thru DFW last night. Take a picture cause it will never last.
BUT, you know all the Houston drivers will be in a panic.

Uhm, Blast....

That isn't enough snow to talk about. *laughs*

I'm hoping we get 6"+ tomorrow and Friday. Rather have that than freezing rain.

EDIT:
For those who aren't sure what enough snow to talk about looks like:

five minutes before this, there was a white out so thick you couldn't see 10 feet. *grins*

Man oh man. We were recently offered a "job" at a "clothing optional" resort in that area. Good thing we didn't take it, it would be rough on my ego...

Yeah, I just have to agree with ironraven here.

The weather folks here were forecasting around 4-6 inches Monday to Tuesday and we go something much worse, about 0.25" of ice followed by 2" of snow and then a nice ice glaze to top it all off. And of course to keep things interesting the winds picked up after that. Auto hockey is so much more fun when you are getting blown across the road. eek

Yeah, mom gets that in Tucson once every few years too. A brief dusting of snow on the Saguaros, then it is gone.

I see that Central Florida is under yet another Tornado watch this month. Sure glad to be outta that place now. We got 8 inches of snow Tuesday here in Denver. Fortunately I was sick and home from work, so no worries there.

I gotta think a little snow in Houston must be putting at least a few more folks there in the Christmas spirit.
