Yet another neat thing for the folks at the security barriers to confiscate...

Maybe it's old news, but I hadn't seen it.. Victorinox now has the SwissFlame knife with a built-in butane lighter.

There have been numerous attempts to combine a lighter and a pocketknife before, of course, but usually the knife is pretty junky in such attempts. In this case, we know what the quality of the knife is, and the questions are bound to center around the lighter....

No clue- though they do say the reservoir is visible. Maybe someone who does product reviews will take this up (hint, hint). <img src="images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

That's probably not a huge factor for me personally, as I don't smoke. Whatever the capacity is, it's going to be a lot more than storing a few matches. I'm thinking EDC here, not as a primary firestarter for either kits or wilderness trips.

And, per an earlier thread, it's got a corkscrew! Some of us find that more or less essential for EDC...

I had the privilege of checking those out at the store. They have stopped shipping with the butane because of fire hazards.
