Looks good. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I didn't see any knives. The 25 lb line will do fine, provided it fits in the hook eyes. My experience with 30 lb line is that it doesn't cast very far, unless you practically tie a rock to it, it has alot of memory (bad thing) and it was fairly stiff. Hope that helps.

Oh yeah, and also - 2 or 3 small wire ties (nylon "tie wraps")
I dont think I could fit a knife in such a small box without major sacrifices. I was contemplating including a SAK whistle knife onto the lanyard, but then the kit may not fit in a pocket.

Run Welcome, here's my $.02 worth on your questions. For a stricker to go with the matches any one from a match box will do.But be sure to pack the matches on the cardboard side of the stricker. This is in case of shuffeling it wouldn't ignite the matches.I also pack a trick b-day candle, sealed within a soda straw with the ends melted shut.If the candle melts it wont go anywhere and still maintain a useable form. And as for tubing try a pet store that sells fish and get some aquarium tubing.Hope this helps out?

I think most people on the site would agree that you need a knife as part of your PSK. The type / size will depend on scenarios / use. However, even when I've got a survival knife with me, I still carry a small lock knife inside my PSK (and my urban kit for that matter). Theese knives don't necessarily need to be expensive and glamorous (that's what your main tool is for) but they can still give you decent back-up capacity. I always include a Whitby Firefly in my kits purely for redundancy. Your profile doesn't say where you're from, but I'm sure you'll find something locally.
