That looks like a great micro kit. The reason our kits are so similar is that I did a recon of your kit while you were sleeping a few months back! The actual reason is that there are only about 3 standard size tins easily available. The one we have, the one Doug uses, and a larger one similar to the BCB tin.

Our whistles are obviously not the same; mine is 1 and 13/16ths inches long, which leaves plenty of room on one end for a Tinder-Quick Tab to be packed.

My Micro Pro kit is designed to be a crucial needs kit for items that would be tough to improvise. I would like to have some water purification tabs and a container included, but the size will not allow it. Carrying the kit in a bag with tabs included would be a good idea.
