Interesting question came to mind as I find myself stuck at home this weekend (like many other weekends). . . . .
If we are all such outdoor type folks, why in the heck are we all glued to our computers instead of out enjoying the outdoors and our toys?
This weekends excuse is I am sick, (same symptoms as Giardia, but not Giardia just really hot tex-mex) but thats stretching it.

It usually looks to me like there are a lot fewer posts on weekends than weekdays, leading me to think that a lot of us are indeed out and about. I am stuck in the home on wheels thanks to my bumb shoulder and a wife with a monster migraine...

I'm at work and the outside temperature is 35 degrees; up from 18 degrees. I'm docked outside of Joliet, Il.

Speaking to home on wheels, are you using one of these ? If not, you should. I watched a million dollar coach burn to the ground two summers ago in Minnesota. Mine got hot, but worked as advertised.

...snip... Dentist for myself and both kids this AM, wound care doc 1 hour later, wife off at class for work, both kids doing homework right now, plus out of it on pain pills - but at least the pain is gone for the first time in 10 days (Doc upped the doese on the pills)

I was shopping for soon come twins today. Besides, on a 9mile x 22mile island, there's not much 'out doors'. But there are beaches though!

I still spend a lot of time outdoors through work, instructing with the local youth group and having fun on my own or with my family. I am in the field for at least part of the day, about 4 days per week.
I have had bad knees since I was a teenager and in the past couple of years they have really limited the scale of my outdoor adventures. I need to have surgery again but really do not feel like being laid-up through the long recovery time. Maybe I will start the process in January after deer hunting and Christmas holidays are over.
I usually check ETS Forum in the morning before work and again after supper with a cup of tea. I watch very little television anymore, although I am hooked on Survivorman and Ray Mears!

Hey Kris,
When is the BIG DAY that the twins are due? How is your wife doing, carrying twins cannot be fun?
