Careful with close range shots with that .38 shotshell. I received a shock when I shot a target board of plywood to check the patern on my S&W M25-5 .45LC. Half of the shot tried to get back in the gun. At least I guess that was what they were doing. None made it, but sure as heck got into my skin. I was popping lead "pimples" for three days. Thank god for shooting glasses. Lack of experience + painful lesson = hard won knowledge.
