I wanted to share what a great course I attended this past week, Ancient Pathways Desert Survival Intensive Course near Flagstaff, Arizona. I have been to SF school and learned a thing or two along my 60+ years as a backpacker, military member and mountaineer however, there was much I have never tried or experienced before attending Tony's course. I hightly recommend the courses at Ancient Pathways, very well done by a true expert in primitve living, survival and bushcraft. Cheers!

We had instruction on all aspects of desert survival, attitude, priorities, shelters, water locating and procurement, fire making through various means, signaling, trapping, primitive utinsel making, a lot of survival lessons learned, first-aid, survival kits, first-aid kits, and lots more that I cannot think of at the moment.
The course was well organized, geared toward as much hands on as possible and realistic in the sense that all training was actually practical, not just theory. It was very evident that Tony was a master at the skills being presented with any and all questions answered and discussed. I was impressed at the level of the training and the fair pricing for the course.
If you want to make a fire drill, a figure 4 deadfall, natural shelters, learn how to build a fire, woods to use, etc, this is the course. Most practical aspect is to pack right, live right and know what how to handle an emergency. Worth the time and cost!
